Blue Angels
We live near Brunswick Naval Air Station and have many military families that attend church with us. The base is closing in a few years and we will miss our military friends. This was the last year the Blue Angels were going to preform at the air show and someone gave us tickets to the practice. In retrospect, I shoulnd't have brought the baby because it was so loud even with ear plugs. The Blue Angels were awesome. They fly unbelievably close and do some amazing stunts. Nathan and Carson liked it when two planes flew at eachother head on, only to turn at the last moment to avoid a crash.

Sweet! We had the Blue Angels in Twin Falls in July. We didn't go out to the show because we (Todd) were putting in an irrigation system in the pasture. Since we live close to the airport, they flew over our house to turn around and get in formation again. Todd and the boys kept staring up at them saying, "that is sooo cool, isn't that cool?" We were all impressed. Fun stuff for you guys!
P.S. We are staying in Oregon until Sunday. It's going to be so great to see everyone!
How sad the base is closing. Our bigger kids would have LOVED to see them. I bet it was really fun.
