Rainy Day

The Skroski family gave Carson a recipe for goo for his birthday. Since April, he has been asking to make the goo. It has been hard to find the time. Finally, his dad made it for him. They had a blast with it. When you pick it up, it is a solid but quickly turns into a liquid. What a mess! If you want to try it all you have to do is mix 2 cups of corn starch with about 2 cups of water and green food coloring. Rich is still scratching his head wondering how to clean it up. Should I help him? Oh, okay. I'll help.

Landscaping

We have lived in our house for almost 5 years now. At that time landscaping seemed like an impossible task. Little by little we have cut down trees, planted grass, added shrubs and flowers. After mowing the lawn yesterday, I realized that our yard finally looks okay. There will always be more to do, but it looks pretty good.

Before and After

Some shots of our yard. I was surprised to find this rare ladyslipper growing under a pine tree.

Bryan's Graduation

My youngest brother graduated from Highschool. I can't believe it. I was 12 when he was born. When Rich and I were married he was only 8 years old. We are so proud of him. Yeah Bryan! Here are a few pictures from the graduation party.

Haircuts

Carson and I got haircuts today. For the very first time I had someone else cut my child's hair. She was way faster and she didn't chop off all his curls. I had her straighten my hair because I never do it myself. Nathan took this picute of us with our new dos.

Cheerios

Look at the concentration. Jack has mastered the art of eating Cheerios. It is one of the only foods he will eat. When a spoon comes near, he clamps his little mouth shut. Every now and then I can trick him by shoving a bite of green beans in when he is expecting a delicious Cheerio.
