First Day of School

It is back to school for Nathan (4th grade) and Carson (1st grade). They were so excited to see their friends again and meet their teachers. I would have gotten a pic of them getting on the bus but the bus schedule online was wrong! We missed it along with the majority of the other kids on our street. Luckily we have a van so I could fill in as bus driver for some of them! This week the temperatures in Maine have been in the 90's so they just cook in their classrooms. Summer was fun but we are ready for some fall weather.

Idaho Trip

Hello blog! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I will try to catch you up on what we have been doing. We went to Idaho to see Rich's family in April. It was so great to see them. The kids had so much fun with their cousins. We went to Yellowstone, worked on the farm, played with cousins, and hiked the Butte. Just to name a few of our activities. The tears were flowing when it was time to say goodbye. Especially from 8 year old Nathan. We can't wait until our next visit.

Easter

Oh the joys of watching your little ones hunt for easter eggs. The weather was a warm 75 degrees in Maine on Easter Sunday. We spent the day with my parents and they hid some eggs filled with QUARTERS! The bigger boys were thrilled.

Pinewood Derby

Nathan had his first Pinewood Derby this past week. He and his dad came up with a really cool car that came in second place! Granted, there are only three scouts in his troop, but he was proud. One derby down, nine to go!

Crazy about Markers

Jack is crazy about markers these days. He loves to scribble and make dots on his floor pad. He is learning the color names. Also there is something about those caps! Jack loves to take them on and off. Here are some pictures of him I took with my new camera.
